ISO/IEC 17025:2005 2010-01-05

Polycontrols calibration lab recently achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation. An international standard for evaluating the competence of calibration laboratories.

This breakthrough achievement makes Polycontrols the first, and currently the only organization in Canada, to provide ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited calibration for gas flow measurement.

ISO/IEC 17025 is considered by the calibration industry as the ultimate recognition of competence. This standard encompasses the entire calibration system and produces metrics for the calibration rig components, administrative systems for process operations, personnel proficiency, documentation supporting the traceability and total measurement uncertainty for the entire calibration facility. ISO/IEC 17025 standards ensure the highest level of confidence in accuracy and repeatability.

New World class liquid calibration facility 2009-01-01

After more than 2 years of development, Polycontrols is proud to inaugurate its new liquid calibration laboratory. This laboratory is equipped with the most recent technologies and with a total uncertainty better than ±0.02% from the reference value. It classes itself within the best production calibration rig in the world.

Behind this exceptional rig, there are more than 30 years of experience in flow measurement and in the construction of that type of systems. Over than 30 influencing variables are taken into account in order to achieve this level of performance. Automatic checks are conducted on a continuous basis ensuring the high demands placed on the calibration accuracy which can be reliably met.

This new calibration rig is fully automated. Testing, calibration and linearization can be executed precisely, reliably and in a schedule that meet the industry needs.
